I grew up on a farm near Chula, Missouri. Our family raised Simmental cattle, hogs, corn, soybeans, and wheat. After serving 3 years in the U.S. Army, I graduated college from the University of Central Missouri, and I am a Certified Public Accountant. I spent over 30 years working for the USDA, 27 years with the Office of Inspector General as an auditor and 3 years with the Risk Management Agency as a compliance investigator and auditor. My experiences included working on and leading performance, financial statement, and IT audits. Throughout my career at the Office of Inspector General I served in all positions at regional office level. I enjoy playing golf and spending time with family and friends.
