I was born and raised in Kentucky where my upbringing around nature and wildlife turned into a passion for painting and art making. Originally an artist I now use my multidisciplinary background to inform my approach to information security and risk management. I have 6 years of information security and ISSO experience supporting multiple federal and private information systems. I have a master’s degree in cybersecurity and I am also CISSP, Security +, and AWS Cloud Practitioner certified.

Outside of work I try to paint and make art as much as I can. I love going on adventures with my wife and son (whether it’s a hiking trip, trying out a new restaurant, or going on a grocery store run). I also love binge-watching anime and Korean dramas.
